I know in my previous manicure you saw me use striping tape, well that was not the first time. As soon as it arrived in the mail from the glorious website e-bay I had to try it. So I did a simple accent nails and I fell in love!
I used OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me and China Glaze Champagne Kisses. Nothing to write home about and as you can see from the tip wear I had worn it for a few days before being able to snap a picture or two. Okay I took two. . .
Looking at these pictures reminds me that I need to take better care of my hands. Close-ups are not forgiving and I need to give my nail art the perfect frame. So I have been using coconut oil nightly for a week and am already seeing a vast improvement. Cold weather and frequent hand washes really can do an number on your skin.

31 Nail Art Challenge Take Two Day 29: Money
“This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of
the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many
solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were
largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper,
which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of
paper that were unhappy.” ~Douglas Adams from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
So for today I give you money. Yeah, I think this is the only way I will get more of it, to put it on my nails. That's okay. It is rather fun to wear it this way.
I only used two colors! Can you believe that, two! I used OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me and Sephora By OPI I'm With Brad. The pattern was done with Cheeky Plate CH55. Here comes more photos.
I hope you like them. Don't forget to look at the other participants' designs. You can bet on them being amazing.

31 Nail Art Challenge Take Two Day 12: Half Moons
I had a brilliant idea! Yes sometimes I am smart, though rarely. The Daily Nail does Moonicure Monday and she has designed bombs out of her half moon manicure. I really liked the design and when I saw this prompt I thought about Christmas ornaments. Heehee! Brilliant, right?
So I used China Glaze Red Satin, Peace on Earth, and OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me.
I had a little trouble figuring out what color to use for the tops. I wanted to use gold, but it didn't show up on the green background. I think DTBTM was a good alternative.
We can't forget my thumb, now can we?
Indoors, just for referance.
Don't forget to check out everyone else too! You'll be over the moon for their creations!

31 Nail Art Challenge Take Two Day 11: Tribal Print
I have never done a tribal print, nor did I have any desire to. I am not really a fan of the look on me. I like other people's, but it really isn't me. Plus, it looked so intricate and difficult that trying to do it when I don't really care for it seemed pointless. Now I have another reason to love this challenge. It was a bit hard, more in that I had to take my time and be very patient.
I went looking for other people's designs to mimic, thinking that would be easiest, but then I decided to just go ahead and let myself just do it as I went.
It looks like an Easter egg due to the colors I chose, but I am really proud of this! I used OPI Don't Talk Bach To Me, Sparrow Me The Drama, China Glaze Electric Beat, and Chocodisiac.
My standard thumb picture.
You'll beat drums in the excitement for everyone else's designs!

New colors to play with!
I went to Ulta for the first time and spent a little money. Hey, I got payed to babysit and I wanted to use the extra money for some OPI polishes which are a rare expensive treat for me. I wasn't sure that I would really buy anything, but then I saw Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI and it was all over! I was in love! Then I saw Don't Talk Bach To Me and thought they were kind of cool together. That one led me to Schnapps Out Of It!. I liked the color, but the name did me in. I don't drink due to personal beliefs, but I couldn't stop chuckling over that one. Sometimes the names are just as awesome as the colors, am I right? So I decided to play with my two initial finds.
I wanted to do some stamping, but nothing was really popping out at me, so I went online for some inspiration and saw some matte French tip manis and decided to give it a try. (Talk about a run on sentence! Where is that editor when I need her? Editor. . . wait. . . what?)
I really like it. It is subtle and shows off the colors rather well in my opinion.
I tried to do one of those cool side pictures, but it didn't work out as nicely as others. . .
Well, I hope you like my play time!
