Well hello! Today is a lovely full of. . . sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows. . . Is that too cheerful for you? Me too actually. I am sitting at home waiting for the next phase in my life to begin. I got a new job and just completed training yesterday. However, I don't start the job until August so. . . Yeah, waiting. . .
In the meantime I have anew manicure! Actually I did this a week ago and I haven't had a moment to blog about it, so here we go!
I am sorry, I am in a strange mood. I will try to be more serious now. I did this for Sunday Stamping and the prompt was complementary colors of a color wheel. I really like purple and yellow together and I got this new metallic purple. I was so excited! I thought I would do a soft yellow with some curly design, very subtle and then BAM! a big purple skull on my accent finger! Well, the polish didn't stamp and I have some serious trouble with the skull stamp. . . so I did another purple and a bow (which looks red in these pictures, but I swear it is purple!). . . Not as awesome as I planned. . . Oh well.
So, I used China Glaze Lemon Fizz, Urban Night, Konad Special White, and Special Gold. The plates were Bundle Monster BM-317 and Gals GA44.
I still think it is really pretty and it has held up rather well (I am still wearing it and there is hardly any tip wear).
Well, I best be going before I say something embarrassing. . .

31 Nail Art Challenge Take Two Day 21: Galaxy
Some of blog posts I seem to give an elaborate set-up and then others . . . not so much. This will fall into the not-so-much category.
I saw The Daily Nail do this design and I thought if I was going to do a galaxy design on my own nails for the first time lets do something different and awesome. I like it. I do, I am just not sure how much. Can you tell it is supposed to be the moon and the galaxy in the background? I hope you can. . .
I used a lot of colors, just like any other galaxy manicure. The starry galaxy color was Sephora by OPI If You've Got It, Haunt It. The other colors were all China Glaze. I used Pelican Gray, White-On-White, Concrete Catwalk, Happy Go Lucky, Electric Beat, Urban-Night, and Wicked Style. Whew! That is a finger full!
A few more shots ending with thumbs. The last thumb, my right one, I think is the best nail. If you have any ideas for what I can do next time that might make this a bit better I would love the advice.
The other ladies' manicures are out of this world and you better freeze time to check them out! (If you get that reference, than you get a gold star in heaven!)

31 Nail Art Challenge Take Two Day 18: A Song
The song I was inspired by I also did a photo montage too a while back. So you understand the design, here is that video.
So I have done the monarch butterfly design before and I thought I would do it again, althought with different colors. If you would like to do this design too, as it is rather popular and I never fail to get complements when I do it just google it. There are a lot of tutorials out in the webverse. My favorite is from cutepolish, but honestly you should look around at different tutorials. I find doing that gives you different tips that might work better for you then another person's.
I really like the colors I used. It looks more romantic and subdued as well. China Glaze Angle Wings is amazing, as I have told you before, in fact this was the design I had intended the previous time I mentioned it.
So all the colors I used were China Glaze Angel Wings, Dress Me Up, and Urban-Night.
This is a good design to do with your non-dominant hand. It has to be precise, but there are not a lot of details, so it is easier to take your time and still not get frustrated. Just remember it takes practice. I am still practicing myself and have a lot to learn. But, I love doing this and practicing is doing it.
A few more pictures. . .
The other participants beautiful music should not be missed!
