The next prompt (Notice I didn't say today's. I am a bit late. . . I had the nails done, I just haven't had time to blog) for the Challenge Your Nail Art 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge is Red and Green. This design I just went with simple and elegant.
China Glaze Holly-Day, Merry Berry, and Medallion are nice dark colors and then with the gold glitter it is very festive.
The pictures don't do Medallion justice! It is so sparkly! I couldn't stop looking at when it was on my nails.
See you tomorrow. Don't forget to check out the other participants!

Sunday Stamping: Once Upon A Time . . .
Today's Sunday Stamping challenge was to do a manicure that represented our favorite Fairy Tale. I tried to think of ways to represent different Fairy Tales; Rapunzel, Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast, or The Little Mermaid. Nothing was coming to mind until I really followed the challenge and thought about my favorite one. . .
So this isn't a very common Fairy Tale. So you might not know it, however it is the Grimm Fairy Tale The Shoes That Were Danced To Pieces, or The Twelve Dancing Princesses. I could tell you what it is about, but I think you should read it for yourself. I really love how the trees turned out, well except for the diamond tree. . . I couldn't figure out how to do it without it looking like another silver tree. . .
I used Bundle Monster BM-213 to represent the shoes and Winstonia W102 to create the trees. The colors are China Glaze Want My Bawdy, Millennium, Medallion, Angle Wings, Glistening Snow, and Brownstone. I also used loose glitter for the leaves.
My right hand I just used Medallion over WMB.
The Shade.
My thumb. I am not sure what could have done for the diamond tree. . . if you have any ideas, let me know.

Pastel Galaxy Nails
I decide to begin another challenge. I kind of missed being given a direction for my nail art. Don't worry though, this challenge is much less intense. Erica's Nails and More is the host and she has provided nine themes for the month of February.
The first challenge is galaxy nails. I wanted to do something different again and I remembered seeing a someone do a pastel galaxy manicure. This was a while back and I tried so hard to find my inspiration, but to no avail. It just reminded me that if I like it I really should pin it. . . (Edit: I finally found it! Natalie from Nail Craze!)
My base color is Orly Decades of Dysfunction. I then sponged OPI Sparrow Me The Drama, China Glaze No Plain Jane, Re-Fresh Mint, Lemon Fizz, Kinetic Candy, and Medallion. Lastly I used Nina Ultra Pro French White for the "stars."
I am really proud of how this came out. Next time I need to remember to use a nail art brush rather than a fine dotting tool for the stars. I think I would get a finer "star" that way.
I couldn't forget the thumb!
Check out the other artists too!
