Flakes of Snow!

I am a day late and a dollar short. . . Well, maybe more than a dollar short, but that is not applicable to this post.

So the first day of the Challenge Your Nail Art 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge was yesterday.  This week is going to be a bit crazy as I have a performance to prepare for on Friday.  I have the first three days done, but actually blogging has been a bit of a time challenge.  Okay, I guess I just better get on with it then.

Snowflake Nail Art

The design concept came from something I saw on pintrest, but like many of these popular nail art designs, finding the original is near impossible.  I hate not being able to find the original, so if you know, please let me know.  I want to give credit where credit is due.

Snowflake Nail Art

For this design I used China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around and Konad Special Red.  For the design I used the Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-H02.

I really like the colors.  They aren't the typical snowflake color scheme.  Plus DLA is one of my favorite whites!  I know it isn't visible it the pictures, but it has got a gorgeous and subtle shimmer to it.

I hope you like this and don't forget to check out all the other participants as well!

  1. The pop of red for your snowflakes is awesome. Its different but still has that Christmas feel. I hate not being able to find the original creator on pinterest, but at least you tried!

    1. Thanks! I am glad I am not the only one who tries. I see others post pictures of nail art without giving credit or with the watermark missing and it makes me angry, because their hard work isn't recognized.
